Teaching is the shaping process of the knowledge and the affective communication, wisdom and training of individual character, English teaching is the constant communication and dialogues between teachers and students, and "practice" is indispensable, not negligible during the teaching process. Whether new teaching or practice, the revision is inseparable from the practice. Exercise is the important means to master English knowledge and skills formation, and also is important ways of cultivating students'ability and developing students' intelligence. when Teachers and students are in the classroom, practice designed is proper or not, the time of the practice presents is right or not, the forms of exercise are suitable or not for students'practical ability to learn etc, they all will directly influence the teachers teaching effect.Based on the analysis of teaching cases, and the interviews of teachers and students to practice designs, I give some summaries and analysis. Secondly, I try to analyze the causes of these problems. Finally, this paper will put forward for optimizing the corresponding tactics, including to improve the pertinence of practice contents, strengthen the diversity of practice forms, create the communicative of environment, highlight the purpose, strengthen practice guide of the demonstration and improve the effectiveness of evaluation, all of these, I want to give some inspired references to the education practice.
