In view of the problems in the contemporary researches of moral judgment and in moral educational practice, this thesis compiles the moral judgment questionnaire on the base of its occurring process and analyzes the characteristics, influencing factors and intervention of middle school students' moral judgment systematically. The main conclusions are as follows:1. Middle school students' moral judgment questionnaire is composed of 34 items which can measure four factors (the basis of judgment, the reasoning and reflection, the plan of action and the understanding of problems). The basis of judgment concludes two subfactors:the application of rules and the description of rules. The reasoning and reflection concludes three subfactors:the consideration of variability, the evaluation of influence and the reflection of rightfulness. The discrimination index of each item meets certain standards of psychological measurement. It has good inner consistency, split-half reliability, criterion validity, convergent validity and discrimination validity.2. The main characteristics of middle school students' moral judgment process are: (1) The overall level of middle school students' moral judgment process is well. The development of the reasoning and reflection is the best, and then are the basis of judgment and the understanding of problems. The scores of the plan of action are the lowest. There was significant effect of parental rearing pattern on middle school students' moral judgment process. Gender, grade and the interaction of the three variables have no significant effect on middle school students' moral judgment process. (2) Parental rearing pattern has significant effect on middle school students' basis of judgment and its subfactors which the scores of middle school students (under the autocratic or democratic pattern) are higher than those (under the indulgent pattern). (3) Parental rearing pattern has significant effect on middle school students' reasoning and reflection and its subfactors which the scores of middle school students (under the autocratic or democratic pattern) are higher than those (under the indulgent pattern). In addition, grade has significant effect on middle school students'evaluation of influence which the scores of students (in Grade Two) are the lowest. (4) Parental rearing pattern has significant effect on middle school students' plan of action and its subfactors which the scores of middle school students (under the autocratic or democratic pattern) are higher than those (under the indulgent pattern). (5)Grade has significant effect on middle school students' understanding of problems which the scores of students (in Grade Two or Three) are lower than other students.3. Intervention is effective to improving middle school students' moral judgment process. Compared with controlled group, the scores of experimental group are higher in two factors (the reasoning and reflection and the reflection of rightfulness) and in the subfactor (the plan of action).
