Y School Financial Management Field Research

Vocational education has been given more and more emphasis during recent years. An agreement has been reached with regard to the aim of the vocational education. It seeks to offer employment to students and a good service to the society, while aiming at training first-class workers with professional expertise by combining academic research with the actual production of enterprise.Now, the development of vocational education is confronted with many challenges, and one of them is how to establish a scientific financial management system. This paper investigated the financial management system of a vocational college and found the following problems:(1) more emphasis being placed on providing service of recording, calculating and reporting, while ignoring the supervision;(2) lack of a comprehensive management of property; (3) lack of monetary safety due to a flexible financial rules; (4) lack of adequate responsibility and sense of risk.To the above-mentioned problems, this paper provides feasible measures and tentative suggestions as follows. (1) Increasing financial investment and emphasizing the research and education. (2) Developing various ways of financing to compensate the insufficiency. (3) Establishing a monitor system to supervise the management. (4) Enhancing the property management to resist the inflation and guarantee the appreciation. (5) Making the financial management known to the staff and encouraging them to join in. (6) Promoting the financial management system.
