Ministry of education has issued"a notice of dealing with academic misconduct of higher school"in March of 2009. Then in 2010,The State Council Committee for Academic Degrees has proposed"opinions about strengthening academic ethics and academic norms construction of conferring academic degrees", which forced various colleges to pay attention to degree paper of graduate and to employ academic misconduct detection system to test paper. That sparked a wave in the colleges and graduates, which began to attract alertness on academic norms in writing the degree paper. But because of objective defect of detection system, it can't fundamentally prevent the occurrence of academic misconduct activities.As the future academic research and national scientific research reserves, it is very important to educate on academic norms of graduates. And as the key link of habit formation of academic research, the academic norms education should be taken serously. Due to research weak of graduate academic norms education, this paper will base on investigation of graduate academic norms education and combine with experiences of colleges in the United States to discuss countermeasures of constructing system of academic norms education of our coutry's graduates.This paper is divided into the following five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction. It is about the background,significance,research thoughts and methods of this paper based on summarizing of lots of literatures.The second chapter is relevant concepts and contents of academic norms education.The third chapter is investigation of present situation, which took a random sample of graduate students of four different types of universities. Survey results are: 1. Students have low cognition and comprehension on the academic norms. 2.There exist lots of violation of academic norms behaviors, different from grades,majors and universities. 3. There is lack of relevant academic norms education and is onefold of education subject. 4. It is necessary to carry out academic norms education on all teachers and students.The forth chapter is the foreign academic norms education research, which give overall investigation on the U.S. education for academic norms and introduce the specific experiences of two universities.The fifth chapter is relevant suggestions of constructing China's education system of graduate academic norms, which build mainly from mechanism level,organization level,teaching and curriculum management level and academic spiritual level.
