Enlightenment Of Moral Education Of Confucianism On Ideological And Political Education In University

Chinese people have created the extraordinary civilization of the world with their untiring pair of hands. China is famous for her moral education and is well known for its rites and etiquettes, which is admired and respected by people around the world. While among the various schools of thought and their exponents during the period from pre-Qin times to the early years of the Han Dynasty, Confucianism has been dominating this field. If Confucianism is a wonderful work of China's thousands of years of tradition, the moral education of Confucianism will be a gem in the treasury of Confucianism. The scholars of Confucianism discussed moral education in a complete way in the works such as the Analects, the Mencius, the Book of Hsun Tzu, the Book of Rites, and formed a theoretical system on different respects of moral education. After thousands of years of ups and downs, China is still praised highly as the cradle of morality, and the golden principles are shared by the world. Although in different historical period, there exist different ideologies, the Confucianism which dominated the whole Ethics in Feudalism still stick to its principles.Since the foundation of the People's Republic of China, the ideological and political education has improved greatly. Throughout the history, it is nod difficult to find that China's got experience and lessons from the ideological and political education.As for the domestic, China's ideological and political education in universities is facing a server challenge. With the great changes of global sci-tech development, coupled with the further development of socialist market economy, the social life has got a complex and profound change in the crucial period of opening-up and reform, therefore, various aspects of relations and interests in social life are facing new adjustment and reorganization. Many new cases and new problems also emerged in the ideological field, the contradiction and struggle in ideological realm is complex, sometimes even intense, which exerted an extensive and profound impact on the moral education in Chinese universities, and the influence is extensive and multifaceted. Although the moral education is still positive, it also met unprecedented complicated situation and severe challenge. The single values and one-sided education as well as the narrow education content and limitated ways of education are all worth thinking and changing.Through the study, it is found that it is an important way to solve the problems which include aimless and inefficient ideological and political education existed in China's universities by referring the moral education of Confucianism, which can help bring the ideological and political education into full play.
