Tao Xingzhi’s Life Moral Education Theory And Its Enlightenment To The Contemporary Ideological And Political Education

Tao Xingzhi is one of the pioneers and founders of the Chinese educational modernization, whose education theory deeply based on the Chinese culture and social reality, which not only emphasized the reality of education function, but also paid attention to the ultimate purpose of education. Tao’s education theory mainly including: the lifelong education theory, the lifelong education theory and the science education theory, etc. Among those theories, "the life education theory" is regarded as the corn theory in the education opinions and practice of Tao advocated. Taping into the life moral education theory of Tao, and drawing lessons from the beneficial ingredients, is conducive to strengthening and improving the ideological and political education. It is an important topic of the current ideological and political education research. Meanwhile, it is also the subject of this article.In this dissertation, the subject of Tao’s life moral education theory and its enlightenment for the contemporary ideological and political education is discussed. The introduction part introduces the problem of the proposed and research significance, from two aspects of the domestic and foreign research status. The main content of this paper has three parts:The first part mainly from the three aspects of the social background, ideological foundation and development process of Tao’s life moral education theory to explain the formation process of Tao’s life moral education theory; The second part discusses the theory of Tao’s life moral education content system, including the life moral education connotation, objectives, principles, contents and ways in five aspects; The third part discusses the Tao’s moral education theory of enlightenment for the contemporary ideological and political education:the first is that ideological and political education should be close to life and close to reality, the second is demonstration leading role for ideological and political educator, the third is paying attention to the role of the subject in the process of ideological and political educated person, the last is focusing on creating a good social environment of ideological and political education.This paper argues that through the intensive research on Tao’s theory of life moral education, not only helps to enrich the Tao’s life moral education theory system and the study of the theory of the ideological and political education, but also helps to strengthen and improve ideological and political education, to add the new education idea into contemporary ideological and political education.
