Along with the new curriculum reform, textbook reform becomes the hot and key point concerned by the teaching theory experts. Form the connotation of the teaching contents and its development trend of formation acceptance and teaching process, the variation problem an important problem in teaching content is gradually highlights, so far, it has become a never-to-be-evaded problem in textbook reform. This paper attempts to do a comprehensive analysis and discussion for this problem.The teaching contents are possibly variation in some extent. The teaching contents exists variation from three processes including forming, teaching and accepting. In forming process, it basically shows in distorted painting, illustrations, teaching material, the language and redundancy in teaching material. In teaching process, it mainly shows in distorted teaching plan, teaching language use. In accepting process, it mainly reflects in deviation of student's mastering of teaching material.There are many factors affecting the variation of teaching content. The factors are the author, teacher, student, textbook itself and curriculum standards. Variation caused by author's individual differences, choices, quality, knowledge, ability of express. The heterogeneity between teachers and individual differences, the effect of teacher's selective, language using and the different qualities also led to variation. In the meantime, the student's own factors and textbook itself causes the variation of the teaching content. Finally, the fuzzy expression of curriculum standard also increases the variation of the teaching content.Teaching content variation in some extent can reasonable control of the, first of all, to control the teaching content variation to from headwaters, for authors' take effective measures, such as to be conducted, and secondly qualification accreditation to teachers measures, such as scientific research, again is the student, the student to have the critical thinking, finally is take some other auxiliary measures.
