Study On The Factors Of Interpersonal Relationship And Promotion Strategies Of College Students By Transactional Analysis

Although Transactional Analysis is widely used in the fields of company management and psychological counseling home and abroad, the Empirical Study is not enough. Therefore, this article will explore the relationship among―game‖, life position and ego state which are the basic concept in Transactional Analysis with the interpersonal relationship and psychological well being. This study is divided into three parts:First,through the accumulation of experience in the psychological consultation and the accumulation of the observation in the daily life,I found a phenomenon which I name it―nice guy‖phenomenon that some college student can't refuse others. The phenomenon is accord with the Game Analysis in Transactional Analysis; therefore, I name the phenomenon as―nice guy phenomenon‖to analysis the―nice guy‖. According to this paradigm, I did some individual intervention and group intervention which achieved the desired results, theoretical assumption was proved reliable.Second, I choose 333 students in Tianjin University as research objects and questionnaire as method,analyze the traits of life position and ego state,and the interaction among life position,ego state,interpersonal anxiety and psychological well being. According to the basic dimensions of life position scale,cluster analysis of college students, which confirmed that there is―I'm not ok, you're ok‖(I-U +),―I'm not ok, you're not ok‖(I-U-) ;"I'm ok, you ok (I+U+), " I'm OK, you're not ok (I + U-) "four different life positions, as same as the division in the Transactional Analysis. I+U+ type are least likely to have social anxiety, while the highest levels of psychological well-being. I+U-type and I+U-type are in the middle, I-U-type most prone to have social anxiety, and the lowest levels of psychological well-being.Ego state also can affect the social anxiety and psychological well-being. Adapted child(AC)and interpersonal anxiety are significantly positively correlated. Free child (FC) and Adult (A) significantly negatively correlate with interpersonal anxiety. Nurturing parent(NP), A and FC significantly positively with psychological well-being. AC negatively correlates with psychological well-being.Four kinds of life positions have four different kinds of egograms. According to the scores of five ego states which are converted to the Z scores, then every life position possess its own egogram which is basically same as the hypothesis in Transactional Analysis.Structural equation model showed that life position can predict interpersonal anxiety and different kind of ego state is as the mediator.Third, I use psychological abuse and neglect in childhood as factors to explore the reasons for the formation of the life position, results showed that―childhood psychological abuse‖is a direct negative predictor to―I'm ok‖.―Neglect‖is a direct negative predictor to―You're ok‖.
