Red tape refers to the redundant administrative rules, regulations and procedures that are harmful to organizational performance. People often refer Bureaucracy and red tape and formalism to each other. Bureaucracy and red tape in close association, with the result that people do not see the sense of its original features. In this thesis, has conducted the nature and reasons of the red tape in bureaucratic organization from the perspective of organizational sociology.This paper describes the origin of consciousness of the problem of red tape: the value of bureaucratic organization is the pursuit of management efficiency, and the nature of red tape is inefficient.
