Improving efficiency is not only much-talked-about topic nowadays, but also the focus concerned by society. Under the circumstance of market economy, there is a growing concern in how to use fully and efficiently kinds of resources such as manpower, finance and substance, and information and so on. Private colleges, as the social institutions, carry the social expectations, give expression to student’s dream and pregnant with educators and researching crystallization. As a huge system of private colleges to normal operation, administration plays a key role. Private college administrative staffs’daily work is to relatively complicate and strain. In order to ensure the normal development of private college administration, ensure the private colleges teaching work carried out smoothly, which require administrative personnel work say without mincing words, to avoid wasting time. Administrative staff and for routine work plan, work duties within the scope necessary for effective control, and improve administrative efficiency. Improving administrative efficiency is the private college cost savings, improve the ability of running a school, establish a good social image of the core, only the administrative efficiency, private universities reputation will be good, its teaching and research results will be widely recognized, and more students will enter the university to study active choice. In other words, only the administrative efficiency of private universities, the daily management, teaching, scientific research and other work to normal development, private colleges will have a bright future.This paper mainly adopts model analysis method, contrast research method and systems analysis method. We study comprehensively and systematically three aspects of China’s private higher school including its organizational structure, the existing universal problems of the administrative management efficiency and its development measure. The article is divided into introduction and three sections. And each section abstracts as follows.Introduction:we introduce the research background of this research subject, the specific contents of private higher school administration efficiency problems and research purpose; we review the present research situation including domestic and oversea research; we also set forth the framework and methods of the research project.Section1:Summarization of the private higher school organization structure and its management. Firstly, we set forth organization structure of China’s private higher school management and analyze its characters. Then, we expound the definition of private higher school management efficiency. Finally, we analyze the theoretic elements and impact factors of the private higher school management research.Section2:The representations and reasons of lower management efficiency of the private higher school. We mainly demonstrate it from two aspects. On the one hand, we introduce the representations of lower management efficiency of the private higher school in detail. On the other hand, we analyze its essential reasons at length.Section3:The measure to improving the private higher school management efficiency. How to improve the private higher school management efficiency is our start and ultimate target. As this paper’s core section, so far as how to improve the private higher school management efficiency is concerned, we mainly discuss and study it from three aspects. The first is to optimize its system and mechanism, and to clear target management and performance assessment. The second thing is to strengthen management team building and to develop manager diathesis. And the third is to impel information-based of the private higher school management and to carry out standardization management.The innovation of this paper has the following two aspects.(1)As far as how to develop the private higher school administrative management efficiency is concerned, we put forward’Three Drivers’model about it, namely’Internal and external environment analysis drive’,’Prompting and post turn drive’ and ’Administrative department relationships and structure function driver’.
