With the development of the Internet, virtual communities play an increasingly important role in the communication people's daily life. And the phenomenon that a growing number of users expose their privacy in the virtual community has appeared. This paper analyses 121 posts which are involved in exposure of privacy in the TianYa Community using literature research method.First, analyze the content of privacy exposed in virtual communities, according to difference of subjects; the contents exposed are divided into two categories: self-exposure and exposed by others. We find that self-exposure is main in virtual community, and the main topic is family life.Then, we inquiry the motivation for the exposure of privacy and find that there are differences in motivation between the self-exposure to privacy and exposed by others. In accordance with the theory of social action, The behavior of privacy expsure in the virtual community can be divided into three types: means-ends rational action with behavioral tendency of help-seeking;value rational action with behavioral tendencies based on cognition and agreement;emotional action with behavioral tendencies based on retaliation, peek and talking out.Third, this study analyzed the interactive features of privacy exposure and the impact of interactions in the virtual community. There are several features: from the viewpoint of interaction content, privacy exposure in the virtual community is a relative exposure; from the viewpoint of subject the whole process of interactions is in the state of decentralized; from the viewpoint of the frequency of interaction, there is a clear Matthew; from the viewpoint of interactive language, internet language is popular; from the viewpoint of interaction rules, moral relativism prevails; from the viewpoint of behavioral tendencies, rational and irrational coexist during the interactive process. Fourth, based on the conclusions of previous chapters this study analyzed and discussed: the boundary changes of the privacy, the role of the virtual community in the process of privacy exposure, the ethics of privacy exposure.
