Privacy Problems In Human Civilization From The Perspective Of Cognition

The term "privacy" has long appeared in Chinese,but it has a very different meaning in different historical periods and different times.With the rapid development of Internet technology in the past 30 years,almost all people have been inextricably linked with the Internet.The era in which we are located inextricably linked to the internet is a new era for human civilization.In such a new era of network,the world's network users,in the use of the Internet in the process of "privacy" issues have attracted more and more attention.Every individual involved in Internet-related activities,in the process of participation,has clearly revealed the anxiety about whether their privacy has been compromised.To that end,the EU introduced the strictest data protection Bill ever in May 2018 in an attempt to guarantee the right to privacy of every Internet participant.And less than a week after the bill was introduced,Internet tech figures have accused it of being just a bill designed to fine internet companies anytime,anywhere.This situation has caused serious differences and contradictions between Internet service providers,governments and ordinary Internet participants.Generally speaking,in the public's cognition,"privacy" is the best interpretation and concentrated embodiment of the concept of "privacy".Almost everyone believes that as long as a person's "right to privacy" is fully protected,it can be assumed that the person's "privacy" has not been violated.However,when we make logical scrutiny of such cognitive propositions and comb the history of the concept of "privacy",it is not difficult to find that the scope of "privacy" is much broader in real life than the "right to privacy" in the legal sense.This means that we must examine and ponder this problem as many dimensions as possible from the fundamental point of view of cognition,that is,from the perspective of philosophy.At the same time,the progress of quantum mechanics,the development of physics and the deepening of the popularity of the internet,let us realize: to a large extent,our way of existence,behavior process,thinking level,level of understanding,such a common phenomenon in daily life,the vast majority of the existence is actually the collection and embodiment of data.Data flow is bitstream,in the early years John Archibald Wheeler came up with the idea that "everything comes from bits".And the advent of the new era of the Internet,so that more Internet participants,understand and know the value and significance of the data at the same time,but also evidence of John's point of view.And when we recognize this,we can get a staged conclusion that our "privacy" may also be just a manifestation of bitstream.Therefore,this article will take the "privacy" problem of the new era of our network as the starting point,from the perspective of human civilization and cognitive theory to sort out and compare the different cognition of this problem in Chinese and Western culture,as well as the cognition of all mankind on this issue in different historical periods,to discuss and explain our "privacy".Exactly how it was produced and developed.Through combing and contrasting the birth and development history of "privacy",this paper concludes that "privacy" is,to some extent,a specific product of the stage of human historical development.Is the "derivative" produced by human beings in order to survive more conveniently.A better understanding of this existence has an extraordinary meaning for understanding ourselves.A deep understanding and grasp of "privacy" can make us more certain and calm on the road to freedom.
