Since our country carried on the reform and opening up policy for more than 30 years, great progress has been made in the construction of economy and the development of society People have been paying much more attention to family education. However, with the development of guidance on family education, the families'demand are satisfied because of the unprofessional instructors; and service of guidance on family education is not effective. As a result, there has been little progress in the guidance on family education in recent years.Based on the result of questionnaire and interview, the thesis takes Shanghai area as the typical example to analyze the major problems existing in the current family education mode. Moreover, in this thesis, an attempt was made to put forward the approach to solving the problem of the guidance on the family education, that is, the guidance on the family education should be regarded as a social public product provided by the government public service. Through bringing the guidance on the family education into the system of the government public service, a system in which government acts predominately is gradually being established. The nongovernmental sectors work as the main force to guide the family education. At the same time, nonprofit professional organizations are encouraged to participate in the guidance of family education, hoping to completely change the low efficiency of the present mode of the instruction.In addition to the abstract and the acknowledgement, the main body of this thesis consists of six chapters.The first chapter is a prologue, introducing the meaning, the purpose and the method of the research.The second chapter is theoretical basis, making an outline on the nucleus notion studied in this thesis, the current research development at home and abroad.The third chapter is to analyze theoretically the feasibility of bringing guidance on the family education into public service system.The fourth chapter analyzes the major problems existing in the current family education mode through survey, and makes a brief analysis and summary on the causes of these problems. The fifth chapter mainly gives strategy and suggestion, that is, to bringing the guidance on the family education into the system of government public service according to the problems existing in current guidance on the family education.Chapter 6 is the summary of the whole thesis, especially the key points and the inadequacies in this research.
