As a professional team, teachers need to promote educational faculty by lifelong study. Self-regulated learning plays much more important roles in promoting teachers'professional development than other learning ways. How to select and use self-regulated learning strategies will affect heavily on study efficiency.Senior high school teachers of Urumqi have higher quality than other regions of Xinjiang. So, the study of senior high school teachers'self-regulated learning strategies of Urumqi will take important enlightenment to all of Xinjiang senior high school teachers.Based on analysis from literature and research, and according to the related theory, this study points out teachers'self-regulated learning strategies include cognitive strategies,metacognitive strategies and resource management strategies, and then divides these three strategies into different parts, and elaborates them. In order to know the using situation of senior high school teachers of Urumqi, this study does a questionnaire survey and an interview for them. After analyzing of data, the writer finds some problems with senior high school teachers of Urumqi, which includes teachers'fine processing strategies, plan strategies, learning ability to network, efforts management strategies and time management strategies. After analyzing the sample differences, the writer finds, there are not differences at the use of self-regulated learning strategies with among sex and different schools, and there are marked differences with nation,school age and professional post. And then, this study analyzes the possible cause of these problems and differences.Finally, this research gives some reasonable suggestions to help senior high school teachers promote using ability of self-regulated learning strategies. These suggestions are to advance with the times and assimilate new idea; to train multiple self-regulated learning strategies; senior high schools should perfect excitation mechanism of teachers and encourage teachers to do self-regulated learning. In addition , senior high schools should work hard to create a good learning environment,to organize school-based teaching research and to build teacher learning community to push ahead teachers'inter-communication.
