This study is an exploratory qualitative research with the specific research based on the literature consult and interviews with20 rural primary school teachers in Shagou Town of Lunan. I t discusses the social mobility of rural primary school teachers and the influencing factors in their life course under the modern social environment of the growing economic rationality of individual actions through drawing lessons from life course theory.Study has found that the constitution of rural primary school teachers is multiple, and the occupational mobility and choice of old teachers and young teachers who support education in rural primary school at present are converging. They have strong intention to stay, and the young volunteer teachers have a clear intention to return to the city, which is closely related with different types of life in their early years, experience, and difference among their current age.In addition, this study focuses on the relationship between life course of young teachers in rural primary school and their social mobility will and choice. Study suggests that the life and career mobility process of young teachers in rural primary school can be broadly divided into the following four phases: childhood, in this period life experiences of rural poverty makes"becoming urban resident"become their deep expectation in their hearts, also it's the driving force of accumulation of capita for non-agricultural occupation they began to; school days, making efforts to achieve the magnificent transformation of farmers through relatively fixed path of institutionalization as accepting education, tests, graduation assignments, at same time forming a conservative employment notion which is lack of competitive sense, which play an important role in the stability and order of individual career; career development period, rural primary school teachers achieve a professional identity of teachers through the relatively compare of local community, discipline of career promotion system and good adaptation to their profession; present period, the teachers'career choices have been gradually integrated with their daily lives, it's the combined effects of many factors, mainly influenced by social settings like national education reformation, family obligations, career development, social relationship and reference groups, which prompted them to choose the local community and the school organizational environment to settle down and get on with one's pursuit during the choosing of occupational mobility.
