The higher education system had the major impact on the society's development during the Republic of China. The higher education during the republic of China in Hubei Province, not only with the evolution of the characteristics of the times, but also because of Hubei political, economic, social and other reasons, showing a regional characteristics. Wuhan University as one of the few institutions of higher learning during the republic of China in central China, the fluctuation in development of Wuhan University is big. Its modernized course is worth paying attention especially. And many experiences may supply to use for reference. Many lessons are also worth reconsidering.Now this is the new millennium, the new century. After a century of great changes in China's higher education situation, that is facing the unprecedented opportunities and challenges. The rapid development of science and technology, the rise of knowledge economy in full swing, we are building a higher level in the well-off society in the great process, and further deepen our understanding and awareness of higher education and further development of higher education to plan, we have careful thought and time to make the right answer thesis. Therefore, in-depth study of Chinese development of modern higher education, combing their success or failure of the new situation in the development of higher education will undoubtedly have a special reference value and significance.This article has a wealth of Wuhan University study put the value of higher education in modern China, Beginning, development and sophistication in the background, the only study of modern China, the embryonic development of higher education, but also of institutions and the Government interaction situation, then to study their occurrence and the history of the development experience of innovation and integrity.Writing in accordance with this idea, the paper is divided into five parts, by the introduction, body, conclusion composed of three major sections:The first part is introduction.
