Research On The Stage Of Modernization Development Of China’s Higher Education

“China Education Modernization 2035”puts forward the strategic background,overall thinking,strategic tasks,implementation paths and safeguard measures for the development of China’s education modernization.The modernization of higher education is an important part of China’s educational modernization.What is the connotation of modernization of higher education and how to realize it,It has become a topic of common concern for the whole society.The Outline of the National Medium and Long-Term Education Reform and Development Plan(2010-2020)emphasizes that China should realize the basically education modernization in 2020.The strategic arrangement of the new stage of China’s socialist modernization proposed by the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China puts forward a new stage goal for the modernization of higher education in the new era,We have in-depth study the theory and practice of the staged development of higher education modernization,which is of great significance for accelerating the modernization of higher education.Based on the nature of higher education,the law of interaction between higher education and productivity,the inherent law of the interaction between higher education and political economy,and the important thought of General Secretary Xi Jinping on education,Through the methods of literature,comparative law and normative research,the paper systematically studies the development stage China’s higher education.Accurately analyze the development process,problems and causes of it,Compare the stage of modernization development of higher education at home and abroad and its connotation and summarize the places for reference,in order to provide experience for China’s higher education modernization development,and find a reasonable path for the modernization of higher education in the new era.The modernization of higher education in the new era is a process in which the goals of the stage are realized in turn.The realization of the goals of each stage links the whole process of modernization of higher education.Deepening the developmentstage goals and its connotation research provides a unique perspective and new methodology for the study of higher education modernization.China’s higher education modernization has undergone four stages: germination,initial adjustment,recovery and development,and leap-forward development.Each stage presents different characteristics.The development of China’s higher education modernization has some problems,such as insufficient moral education in higher education,relatively insufficient investment and weak links in the modernization of higher education,unbalanced development in higher education regions and disciplines,and inadequate development of higher education.The development of modernization of higher education is influenced by the late start of modern higher education and the imbalance of historical layout,the lack of modernization of ideas and concepts,and the differences in regional economic development levels and so on.Through horizontal comparison of the stage of modernization development of higher education in the United States and Europe,and learn valuable points in comparison;Taking the connotation of each stage of the new era and high education modernization as the foothold,the connotation development can be dividing into three stages: the budding stage,the realization stage,the construction of the overall stage of higher education,and the construction the world’s higher education powers are in the first stage.Each stage contains the historical development logic and connotation of the modernization of higher Education;facing the problems existing in the construction of China’s higher education modernization stage and accelerating the modernization of China’s higher education,we need to start from two aspects.First,from the theoretical support and practice level of China’s higher education modernization as the starting point,comprehensively deepening education reform to provide a driving force for accelerating the modernization of higher education:Deepen the Reform of Higher Education System and Innovate the Development Model of Higher Education,and accelerate the reform of education informationization infrastructure,improve the system of higher vocational education,deepen the reform of the guarantee mechanism for higher education funds,and establish a social support system widely supported by society;Second,it is based onthe connotation of the various stages of higher education modernization,and implements intensive development to speed up the modernization of higher education to provide quality assurance: Form a high-quality faculty training system,develop great quality education to build a high-level talent training system,form a broad international exchange and cooperation pattern,build a new higher education ecosystem,and accelerate the implementation of the modernization of higher education.
