At the end of the 1990 s,a new round of classroom teaching reform in education quality, with the launch of each course widely carried, are looking for a kind of knowledge and ability to realize double ascending teaching mode and method, obviously, the traditional pattern of classroom teaching already difficult to adapt the demand. Independent cooperation study, inquiry-based learning classroom gradually been accepted and approved: in the classroom, the teacher teach for no more than half of the students autonomous learning, mainly through independent, found that the problem, group discussion in the way of solving related problems, to achieve learning goals, the teacher is the main task of the target leading, unriddling, just at the right time to give guidance. Although history class teaching reform achieved great success, but there are still many problems to be solved. Although our history class there are still many shortcomings, but undeniable, let students become classroom-hosts, explore independently, cooperation and communication through the way of learning, has become the mainstream of the current history teaching.This article from the definition of the inquiry learning, combined with the inquiry learning theory basis-cognitive theory, constructivism theory, meaningful learning theory and humanistic theory and pragmatism theory, analyses the characteristics of the inquiry learning, a comprehensive understanding of explorative study. Inquiry learning in the history of practice and promotion class not only need to build the system guarantee of the system, but also need to transform teacher concepts, improve teachers professional quality. This paper introduces the learning mode, 5 E ring learning mode two inquiry learning mode, and use of 5 E learning model for classroom practice. The author carried on the questionnaire survey and from the classroom situation, students present situation including the attitude of the students, and implementation of inquiry learning to students influence, teachers of analysis, and recognize that inquiry learning classroom the insufficiency, and put forward the reform class teaching, improve the inquiry learning strategy, first is implemented, the second is in the system to strengthen students research method instruction, and once again the propaganda, show inquiry learning achievement, according to the study content characteristics, choose suitable teaching mode.
