Study On The Relationship Of Career Planning, Self-esteem And Social Support Of College Students

Nowadays, the research on college student career planning has become a focus. However, the domestic researches are mainly theoretical and there are very few empirical studies. This thesis presents an empirical research on college student career planning, taking social support and self-esteem as the influence factors. The results showed that college students' understanding of the career planning is rather limited, their self-esteem are at a high level, and their social supports level are low. College student career planning, self-esteem and social support have differences in variables of demographic.College student career planning is significantly related to the self-esteem and social support. The various regression coefficients in the regression equation are also at a significant level. We had discussed the current status of career planning, self-esteem and social support of the college students and analyzed the origin of them in this thesis. Also analysis of the relationship between the three variables and interaction mechanism.At the end, some advices had also been put forward to perfect the guidance and instruction on the career planning of college students.
