| With the transformation of Chinese economic development mode and the expansion of the scale of higher education,the "scarcity" and "superiority" of graduate students’ employment are being impacted by the increasing employment pressure year by year,and their employment has become an inevitable problem.As a national high-level talent,the quality of employment affects the main line of the national economy.As the main position of cultivating talents,colleges and universities shoulder an important mission.As a higher-level employment guidance method,career planning education has been widely concerned by colleges and universities.Career planning ability is an important foundation for career planning.In recent years,foreign scholars have focused on the impact of individual psychological factors on career planning ability.Among them,"understanding social support" and "psychological capital" have become academic hotspots because of their positive impact on individual behavior.However,the existing literature is very important for understanding social support The research on the relationship between psychological capital and career planning ability is not clear,and the practice and theoretical research of career planning education in China are mainly undergraduates,and there is a lack of research on the group of master students.Based on this,this study focuses on the matching between the career planning ability of Chinese postgraduates and the development needs of economic and social talents.The research object is the career planning ability of postgraduates and its influencing factors.The specific research process is as follows.Firstly,clarify the concepts and related research of "career planning ability","understanding social support" and "psychological capital".Second,according to the "social cognitive career theory",the research model is proposed.Thirdly,an empirical investigation was conducted on the influencing factors of 647 masters’ career planning ability in J University,including the investigation on three variables of "career planning ability","understanding social support" and "psychological capital".In this process,the structural equation model is constructed according to the hypothesis test relationship of "career planning ability","understanding social support" and "psychological capital".The final test results show that:(1)the understanding social support of postgraduates has a positive impact on career planning ability;(2)Postgraduates’ psychological capital has a positive effect on their career planning ability;(3)Postgraduates’ understanding of social support has a positive effect on psychological capital;(4)Psychological capital plays an intermediary role in understanding the impact of social support on career planning ability,and psychological capital is part of the intermediary.Fourthly,based on the results of the study,the author gives some suggestions on how to improve the career planning ability of postgraduates from the perspective of students and universities.This study systematically explains the characteristics and laws of master students’ career planning ability,and reveals the mechanism of understanding the role of social support on master students’ career planning ability.In theory,the research object and content of career planning ability are developed,and the theoretical connotation of career planning ability of graduate students is enriched;In reality,it provides theoretical support and scientific basis for the reform program of career planning education for graduate students in Colleges and universities. |
