The new curriculum reform emphasizes the importance of inquiry teaching, and cultivates the ability of students inquisition. In developing the practice of physical inquiry teaching in middle school, how teachers guide students to engage in inquiry learning,and how teachers organize and implement the inquiry teaching in order to Achieve the teaching effect optimization. Above these become relevant researchers focus of our attention. In order to provide rich and colorful education environment and strong learning tool For students' learning and development, new curriculum reform requires full advantage of information technology. Webquest is a network explore ways. introduced it to the physics inquiry teaching in middle school not only realize integration of information technology and physics teaching, but also strengthen students' ability of scientific inquiry, Meanwhile it can train the students' information literacy.These can realize curriculum reform's requirements to carry out various forms inquiry teaching.First of all, This research introductions the meanings,elements and characteristics of the Webquest and physical inquiry teaching in middle school.Then the study discusses the status of engaging in inquiry teaching in middle school and the feasibility of Webquest using it. Secondly,the study proposes the teaching mode of physical inquiry teaching in middle school based on Webquest,and details the implementation steps.Then combining with the middle school physics teaching material,author chooses exploring content carefully,and designs two teaching case——<<Explore gravitation>>and<< Calculate the quality of earth >>.The implementation of the two cases mobilizes separately with class form and individual. Finally, the study analyzes the teaching effect through interview,questionnaire and so on. the main analysis content centre on the teaching goal of new curriculum standard..After implementing inquiry teaching based on Webquest, research shows that students'interest of learning physics improves obviously.And the students'motitation is strengthening gradually.At the same time,students'information literacy and ability to explore is also increasing.But the physical achievements of students is not changing significantly. The innovations of this research:proposed the teaching mode of inquiry teaching based on Webquest,and elaborate the specific implementation steps.On these basis,author designs two teaching cases and analyzes the teaching effect.
