Initiating inquiry learning is beneficial to change the students' learning approaches and scientific literacy, and to promote their creative sense and practical ability. Practing inquiry teaching needs scientific and elaborate instruction.However, the theory and practice of traditional instructional method isn't suitable for the requirements of inquiry learning, so it is significant to explore the theory and practice of inquiry learning.According to the educational teaching theores, the author explores how to practice inquiry teaching in high school chemistry teaching, does some teaching designs and cases of some chapters, and analyses chemistry inquiry teaching. It helps teacher greatly enhance the reorganization and comprehension in the component of scientific inquiry scheme. All are analysed for design opinions, teaching goals, tasks, case preparing and activity course. The author hopes that most of teachers at high school consciously will use chemistry inquiry teaching method through this research and provides some valuable reference to them for chemistry inquiry teaching.Through teaching practice, the feasibility of this paper is verified. As is proved in practice, After personally experiencing the inquiry activities, students have been changing their learning attitude, become more and more interesting in chemistry, The inquiry teahing method enhances the studying initiative, shifting learning methods and strengthened the ability of scientific inquiry for student.
