When visited Peking University on 29th, April, 1998, Comrade Jiang Zemin pointed out that"the most fundamental elements of creativity are education and talents. To foster talents who adapt to the contemporary tide and meet Modernization requirements is concerned with our long-range program of development prospect and international status."He stated in the report of CPC Sixteenth National Congress that,"Education is the foundation for scientific and technological advancement and personnel training. Playing a vanguard role and having an overall bearing on the modernization drive, education must be placed on our development agenda as a strategic priority."From here we see that the development of era and progress of society are based on the innovative talents. And the training of them is based on education. Middle school is the fundamental period for a person to grow up and develop. Meanwhile, it's the key period to train student's creative consciousness, thinking and ability. We must foster middle school students'creative spirit and ability with all our strength for the sake of children's future and renaissance of the Chinese Nation.To foster students'creative thinking, we used to focus on the teachers'guide and elicitation on class. However, we should realize that the teachers'guide and elicitation is based on teaching material which has a close relationship with teaching practice. Therefore, whether teaching material can reflect the content of creative thinking is the key point to foster student's creativity and is the basic of training innovative talents. Due to its humanity and instrumentality, Chinese subject has unique advantages on training creative thinking.As a new teaching material edited strictly according to the standard of course, the new edition Chinese textbooks for senior middle schools published by PEP have their unique advantages on handling Chinese language knowledge and fostering innovative thinking. Based on the practical requirement of innovative talents of society and the particularity of Chinese textbooks for senior middle schools published by PEP, this article is taken"Study on Strategy and Implementation of Creative Thinking- In Case of Chinese Textbooks for Senior Middle Schools Published by PEP"as research theory. Started with strategy and implement of creative thinking, this article tries to collect and rethink the conditions of Chinese language knowledge of this set of teaching material and sorts out the content of creative thinking from tips before class, reading selection and practice after class comprehensively. At the end of article, the author draws conclusion on how to implement the teaching material of our innovative thinking strategy in practical teaching from three aspects - preparation before class, implementation in the class and extension after the class.
