揅ultivation Of Creative Thinking in Math Teaching Of Middle Schools? -- by Ni Zhen Xiang from the Affiliated Middle School Of Fujian Normal University (The author of this thesis is Ni Zhen Xiang. Graduated from the Math Department of Fujian Normal University in 1984 and then assigned to work as a math teacher in the Affiliated Middle School , Ni is now a senior teacher and vice director of the school teaching research office.) Abstract of the thesis As we enter the 2 1st century, the rapid development of science & technology such as info technology , genetic engineering, the application of the nanometer technology etc. has made it necessary for us to cultivate talents with creative thinking. The thesis is discussing how to cultivate the students?creative thinking in the middle school math teaching, seeking the theoretical basis of cultivating creative thinking by clarifying the true meaning of creative thinking and probing into the structure of creative thinking. Creative thinking is comprehensive thinking and its process is a complicated one requiring the thinker to be able to master and analyze such thinking methods as analysis & combination, abstraction & summary, conclusion & analogy, association & inferring, generalization & specialization, exploration & deduction etc. and to have a thorough possession of thinking forms of logic thinking, intuitionistic thinking, aggregate thinking and emanative thinking. The author believes that compared with the traditional teaching methods, the cultivation & training of extrapolation thinking method , intuitionistic thinking & emanative thinking should be paid more attention to as well as the revelation & seeking of the beauty of math. Using the middle school math materials, the author puts forward some practical discussions and suggestions on how to cultivate creative thinking in middle school math teaching.
