Oral communication is the main tool of human communication. With the rapid economic development and the growing popularity of in-depth quality education, modern society's oral communication skills of students are made a higher demand. However, oral communication has long been attached to the written instruction or teaching, or focus only on listening and speaking abilities to improve the static, but ignore the dynamic communication needs. Even "New Standard" makes specific oral communication teaching objectives and requirements. However, there is a huge difference in how. Based on the observation of normal teaching, interviews with some students and teachers, the access to a large number of papers related monographs, master's and doctoral theses, and questionnaires, this article analyzes Suzhou City in the junior high school language teaching oral communication of the advantages and problems, builds oral communication teaching, teaching materials, assessment strategies. With the practice in the teaching activities, I have achieved some initial results and hope to improve and enhance the students'language literacy.
