The function is the middle school mathematics and the mathematics is one of the core concepts, from the constant mathematics mathematical variables change, is from the function concept learning system start. Function of knowledge learning on the development of students' thinking ability is of great significance. Function concept is a student feel most difficult mathematical concepts, although in actual teaching appropriate permeability, spiral method, sectional and circular arrangement of function of knowledge teaching, but students of the concept of function level is still relatively low. Therefore, the function concept teaching in mathematics teaching is an important subject in the teaching of function concept, the research is not only necessary, but should be further.Then, in the high school function concept teaching, students' learning function, what are the reasons for the difficulties? What kind of teaching strategy can reduce or eliminate these difficulties? This is the article focuses on the study of the problem. Through the questionnaire survey method, test method, document analysis and interviews of function concept teaching difficulty doing the preliminary investigation, analysis of current students' learning function concept sensory difficulties mainly in the following three reasons:In 1, the function itself is a complex knowledge system. Function is not only a concept, is also a kind of change idea, function definition of variables, corresponding to the concept to understand, function characterization of rich forms, function symbol language abstract;In 2, the students' thinking development level is not enough mature, can not be fully equal to the need to apply the dialectical thinking, change point of view in order to understand the learning task.In 3, the students and teachers will solve problems for examination of attitudes, ignoring the essence of concept teaching function.In view of the above three points, the author unifies own teaching practice, presents some function concept teaching strategy, to complete high school students to deepen the concept of function:1, pay attention to concept formation process;2, to take effective measures to help students to understand the concept of function;3, using a stent teaching mode;4, in the teaching of mathematics thought method;5, cultivate students' interest in mathematics.
