It will have a new extension to the functions and types of exercises in the context of the new curriculum, which will inevitably bring profound changes to math's exercises on design mind and methods. And it may promote all-round scientific literacy of students with exercises in order to play the role of consolidation, incentives, feedback and control much better. But the results have showed fewer researches are related to exercises of math's, which is not coinciding with the current situation of educational innovation. In this project, we have studied the functions and types of math's exercise in senior high school and have comprehended the principles and processes of the design of exercise by using survey, exercises analysis, interview and other methods; investigating the impact of the amount of information, the number of nodes, the type s and characterization of exercises on students based on their cognitive psychology, which may be helpful to the research of math's exercise in senior high school.The results are listed as follows:1. From the psychological perspective, the exercises have many functions as below: to arouse the attention and stimulate awareness of the problem; to lead the cognitive experiment and optimize the problem-solving strategies; to induce self-reflection and self-control and to promote positive emotion of students.2. Designing exercises should follow the principle of moderating degrees of difficulties, clear scientific characterization and thought-provoking exploration.3. Exercises with different response will affect the cognitive process and emotional experience when students complete the exercises. Asking question will take a relatively short time to think and hurriedly fashioning, while the hided information will be ignored. The written test-paper will take a relatively long time to think and the process of cognitive will be integrated, which will reduce the anxiety of students. Discussion also take a relatively long time and will be better to fashioning, which can induce the proliferation of students and the development of dialectical thinkingIt is designed to remind the teachers to make exercises based on the demands of the students and the teaching environment of their school. Not only the new mathematics work has manifested the new curriculum idea, moreover has manifested the creativity of the teacher works. Its optimized design is advantageous independently, to the student develops spiritedly to mathematics interest, may a greater limit develop student's study space, the rich after school life, the development unique individuality, the promotion teaching and the curriculum advance mutually. The author want to seek a way to let the student complete mathematics work in the process of the promotion interest, experiences, the exploration innovation, and the independent choice way successfully though high school mathematics work. And at the same time be able to develop student's knowledge in the work consolidated, promote the skill in the work, improve their abilities in the work, and develop the thought in the work.
