Survey On Student Satisfaction Degree With Teaching In Independent College And Suggestions On Improvement

Students are the master of the colleges and universities and the student satisfaction degree plays a very important role in evaluating the teaching qualities. The survey of student satisfaction degree among students in colleges and universities can help find the teaching differences, thus providing valuable information about teaching management.In this thesis, the student-centered educational idea and the theories of customer satisfaction are combined in the higher educational academies. After analyzing the customer-satisfaction theory to prove its feasibility in higher educational fields, the author surveys the undergraduates in a certain independent college in Changchun on the satisfactions with the teaching by means of "Questionnaire of Students Satisfaction Degree on Teaching". SPSS is employed to analyze the data collected, which reveals the student satisfaction degree to figure out the influence of various factors such as gender, grade, and major subject, etc. on their satisfaction degrees to teaching, reaching the following conclusions:1. For the undergraduates in this selected independent college, the satisfaction degree of teaching is 75.8%.2. There is no significant difference between different genders in the evaluation of the student satisfaction degree.3. Students from different grades have great differences in evaluating the student satisfaction degree of teaching, which are embodied in that the marks given by the sophomores and juniors are higher than that of freshmen.4. No significant difference is shown for the satisfaction degree of teaching in the aspect of the subject nature of the major.
