In the past ten years, Independent College has gone through huge development with amazing speed. Independent College has become an unneglectable education resource. The healthy, stable development of Independent College shows direct impact on the balance of education resource and social education demand. "A happy worker is a productive worker." Tope management of College starts to recognize the importance of lecturers' satisfaction to work, and motivate the lecturers' working enthusiasm, their personal development, and the sense of belongings by improving working satisfaction of them. How to implement effective incentive policies to motivate lecturers' working enthusiasm, inspire their creativity, establish a strong capability and expertise team with positive working satisfaction under this special context of survival and development has become a subject that deserves those Independent Colleges continue thinking and practicing.This paper regards Independent College of G University in Zhejiang Province as the research sample. The author subjectively and rationally describes problems of the lecturers' working satisfaction of Independent College of G University, deeply analyze the root causes from six aspects—working pressure, college administration, performance appraisal, salary management, education & training, academic environment—based on incentive theory, and propose suggestions and strategies of how to improve lecturers' satisfaction from incentive aspect. The author hopes that could be helpful for the team building activity of Independent College of G University and other Independent colleges.This paper can be divided into five parts:Part one, introduction. In this part, the paper puts forward the significance of the subject, current situation of relevant studies both at home and abroad. The author also explains the research methods and content of this paper. Part two, describe the incentive theory and reflect the inner relation between four theories—fair, Two Factor, expectation and levels of demand—and lecturers' working satisfaction.Part three, describe the current lecturers' working satisfaction situation of Independent College of G University from six aspects—working pressure, college administration, performance appraisal, salary management, education & training, academic environment.Part Four, based on the current lecturers' working satisfaction situation of Independent College of G University, analyze the problem and the root cause.Part Five, Based on theory and sample study, set up the strategy of improving working satisfaction of Independent College of G University lecturers from incentive aspect.
