As the promotion of the basic education curriculum reform, middle school history teaching is facing many problems, such as underdeveloped teaching concept, single outdated teaching methods, inefficient teaching process, poor teaching environment and other issues. In view of the existing problems, the author studied many concepts related to teaching methods and drew on the experience of"Guiding learning"and"target teaching"from outstanding educators at home and abroad, and then created a new teaching model, that is"Target Guiding, activity establishing, Target achieving", called"Target guiding"model.The author made a basic teaching principles and operating integrating the model with history requirement teaching practice in his district. The author explained the theory by analyzing specific lesson instructions and giving the theory by of using the model. Thought experiment, the author found students were more confident and interested in learning history. Students'learning ability, there are four distinct characteristics about this model such as scientific target making, flexible guide learning, independent activity planning and effective studying this teaching approach changed the past teaching disadvantages. It pays closer attention to students self-learning ability, and helps students to achieve the learning goads class. That means that if reduces the heavy academic burden on students, enhances students'interests in learning and improve students'comprehensive development.This article consists of seven parts. In the first part are the existing issues about middles school history teaching. In the second part are the necessity and feasibility about history teaching reform. The third part is about the formation and development of"target Guiding"model. The fourth section describes the basic about the"target guiding"In the fifth part, the article interprets the operation requirements about teaching target guidance. In the sixth part, there are plenty of lesson analyses on middle school history. In the seventh part, the author summarizes the characteristics about target guidance and presents some new question and expectations.
