During the past 30 years Economics of Education in China has gained significant development, and has formed a relatively mature discipline system. In 1998, the state council adjusted degree classifications, Economics of Education and Educational Administration merged into one discipline, as a public management of secondary discipline. With the development of Economics of Education discipline, on the hand, Economics of Education discipline has gradually formed an independence subject system, on the other hand the research content and object has presented multi-layered trend of development. In order to further promote the development of Economics of Education discipline in China, this study compares the core concepts between China Economics of Education textbooks and Chinese periodical net, analyzes the research content and system, and the evolution process of the discipline system of Economics of Education structure and features, analyzes and discusses the subject of economics.This study use literature, comparative analysis, content analysis, Economics of Education has been divided into four stages. The first stage is initial building of Economics of Education textbooks (1977-1984); the second stage is forming of Economics of Education textbooks (1985-1991); the third stage is the development of Economics of Education textbooks (1992-2005);The four stage is the diversification of Economics of Education textbooks (2005-so far). I extract 15 core concepts from Economics of Education textbooks, for example the relationship between education investment, education resources and economy benefit, education costs, teacher supply and demand, human capital theory, education career, education and labor market, education supply and demand, the student financial assistance, education finance and funds, education industrialization, education economic efficiency, I analyze these core concepts from vertical angle.The conclusion is:there are some discrepancies on the core concepts between Economics of Education textbooks and Chinese periodical net; there is a different growth trend between Economics of Education textbooks and Chinese periodical net; Our Economics of Education textbooks and Chinese academic journal net core concepts are closely integrated with age. To perfect our country's Economics of Education textbooks, I offer a proposal:value Economics of Education independent research, perfect its logical and independent research content system; Economics of Education textbooks core concepts should be adjusted to social, economic and cultural development; Economics of Education textbooks should have characteristic of times transcendence, standardize; Economics of Education textbooks and Chinese periodical net of the core concepts should interact with each other...
