Sports teaching material is the carrier of sports curriculum, textbook writingand design subject to domestic and international sports workers from differentperspectives and methods, in-depth persistent exploration. The eyes by manyscholars at home and abroad in recent years, the studies are focused on the sportseconomics, sports economics discipline development, the curriculum and so on towrite the related theory books and documents. Relative to the sports economicsdiscipline research dynamic, the study of sports economics textbooks theory almostsilent, focuses on the contrast analysis of Chinese and foreign sports economicstextbook research field is little, the researchers involved in the theoretical researchlag seriously hindered the construction of teaching material. Based on this, thisarticle try to4this sports economics textbooks of China and the United States as theresearch object, using literature, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics and soon5kinds of research methods, based on the analysis on the concept of education incolleges and universities of China and the United States, the location and usage ofsports economics textbooks and to emphasis on the teaching material in the writingand design theoretical framework of "select, organize, and present" in-depthdiscussion on the three elements of, sports economics textbooks to find domesticversion exists "sports people research economy"; Focusing on the constructiontheory from a macro point of view, weakening the practice and the cultivation of thestudents independent thinking ability; Focus on knowledge as the center, payattention to discipline their own logic, less consider students’ interests and needs;The organization structure of the linear and circular type and type of knowledge isdrab, makes teaching material content cannot be good to attract readers.Made on the rationalization of teaching material and design: Edition of sportseconomics textbook in terms of writing and design should strive to reflect the"knowledge-centric" and "student-centered" combination of focus on inquiry,elicitation method of teaching material and the importance of teaching material of science and art.
