The basic education of China has gained great achievement of world attention since China began reform and opening-up policy 30 years ago. But because of the unbalance development of regional economy, social and culture, security risks which influence regular teaching order happen in campuses, especially campuses of primary and secondary schools in rural area. The security prevention and management in campuses of primary and secondary schools in rural area have many new features and situations. Campus security has always been valued by educators and experts all over the word, and many achievements have been made in this field. Recent years, domestic scholars make a further research and study on campus security according to the actual situation in China, which reduce the distance between our country and the world advanced level. But scholars at home and aboard all analyze problems from the point of macro, and put forward series of polices and solutions for education management department, or choose one school or one security issue as study case, and make research. They seldom make quantitative analysis and systematic research of a certain type of school in certain region, and draw security management methods and rules for this school in line with the school's real situation. Through questionnaire survey, interviews and field survey, this paper made a further research in 6 primary and secondary schools in east, centre and west areas of Shandong province. After arranging and check the questionnaires, an objective and comprehensive argument was got. According to the interviews, we got the management status, major problems and reasons of security facilities, food safety, neighborhood security, health and disease prevention, and safety prevention security in rural primary and secondary schools in Shandong Province. AHP and relevant theories were applied in this paper. Evaluation model was established for evaluation and analysis. Then effective methods and suggestions were put forward for the further improvement of the security prevention and management in rural primary and secondary school campuses in Shandong province, which provides a reliable basis for the work of safeguarding the security of students and teachers in rural primary and secondary schools and improving the quality of security prevention and management in schools. Meanwhile, this paper also provides effective experience for the research on the campus security management in other regions, and makes a contribution to the establishment and complement of school security prevention and management system.
