On Problems And Solutions Of Security Management In Rural Primary And Secondary Schools

The security management in rural primary and secondary schools affects the healthy growth of children, involving thousands of families. An unbreakable security line must be built for the children with the mutual cooperation from the school, the government, the family and the society. More to the point, there are a great deal of Children Left Behind throughout the Chinese rural areas, so special protections are indispensable for them to supply a safe and healthy development environment, although they stay far away from their parents.For the study of the security management in rural schools in Wuxue City of Hubei Province, based on research cases, this thesis discusses the present problems, their causes and prevention measures in the security management in rural schools at present. As a result, we can unfold the fundamental mechanism in the security management in rural schools, and even provide effective plans and rational security management disciple.The thesis is divided into five parts as following. In the part of the Introduction, it mainly discusses the background and meaning, ways and means of carrying out the research about the security management in rural primary and secondary schools. The second chapter mainly lists the16salient issues on the security management, using the typical cases occurred in the rural primary and secondary schools in the writer’s working area as the research objects. There are many details, fresh and real examples with simple case analyses from the writer to support every security accident. The third chapter focuses on the main causes of the frequent security accidents in rural primary and secondary schools. There are subjective and objective causes, external and internal causes, such as the lack of responsibility of local government, the laxity of security management, improper family education, students’ psychological vulnerability and poor self-control ability, and so on. The fourth chapter is intent on constructing some operational mechanism of prevention and treatment against security accidents, based on the former cases. The last chapter is about presenting some sensible suggestion on the improvement of school safety management system, including the rational schemes of five aspects:administrative safety regulations, educational safety regulations, students’safety regulations, logistical safety regulations, and safety education regulations.
