Study On The Present Situation Of Pupils' Idolatry And Its Strategies

Idolatry has become an important part of pupils'spiritual life. Different idols will have different effect on pupils. The research on pupils'idolatry is mainly done by doing questionnaire surveys, interviews, narrating as well as analyzing individual cases. The presence and the cause of problems are analyzed based on some first-hand materials on pupils'idolatry. By doing this, we hope we can guide pupils to worship their idols in a proper way.The survey indicates that there exists some problems on pupils'idolatry. For example, some pupils worship their idols in an unreasonable and improper way. Most of the people they make an idol of are stars. What's more,most pupils learn from their idols superficially. They seldom get to know the inner qualities of their idols.Besides, pupils choose their own idols without communicating enough with adults and they lack the guidance of adults. These problems are caused by schools, families, society and pupils themselves. They have their own defects. In order to guide pupils to have proper idolatry and bring idolatry into full play, this paper is trying to analyze the cause of pupils' incorrect ways to worship idols and provide strategies to correct them.
