The Research On Idolatry Of Junior High School Students And Its Educational Countermeasures

Idolatry among junior high school students groups is universal. Although this phenomenon is different in different times for different individuals, in general, it is a kind self-display and personality characteristics showing of young people. It is also the dream of future goal for a better life and a special form of emotional expression.Healthy idolatry development is an important value-oriented incentives for young people. However, due to the specificity of physical and mental development of young people and their immature understanding of the future life, the worship of idols or abnormal worship of junior high school students will also affect their study and physical development healthily.Therefore, understanding this phenomenon scientificly from the characteristics, types, and the main problems is very significant. Also exploring the reasons, thinking of solving this problems has great significance and value.In order to make this study deeply and widely, I combine quantitative research with qualitative research as researching method, then have a better understanding of junior high school students idolatry through a survey on contemporary interviews . The phenomenon idol worship of junior high school students has its reasons in family, the community, schools, and cultural role in many aspects. Idolatry among junior high school students is irrational and has its diversity. They adore movie stars, great businessmen mostly, but politicians and scientists less. In face of this phenomenon, education must do some actions, it has responsibility. We should look into the nature and causes of this phenomenon profoundly, giving them proper guidance.We should use true spiritual values to enrich the cultural life and spirit of young people and help them to establish the right goals and ideals of life.Therefore, I try to propose the following related educational guidance strategies: Education and guidance must be integrated into the daily teaching; Education of idol worship should pay close attention to our life and society; Enhancing self-education of students; Media literacy of students also needs improved. In this thesis, I try to explore a better way to and guide junior high school students'idolatry education and then meet the needs of the contemporary reality of the junior high school education. In this way we can get a better inspiration and reflection about the moral education in school.
