Confucius is the great thinker and educator of China. He inherited the cultural essence of previous generations. He believed that knowledge should belong to common civilian and set up the first private school. His teaching idea has the extensive and far-reaching influence both at that time and later, domestically and internationally. The plump content and unique perspective of his teaching idea which maintained a strong vitality become more meaningful.Based on the Confucian classic "The Analects of Confucius", this paper choose three typical teaching ideas, and apply the operational transformation of teaching idea to analyze them. Then refining teaching thought contained, the corresponding teaching behavior has been deduced, and we can sum up requirements of teaching behavior for teacher' professional qualityThis paper analyzes the principle of operational transformation of teaching idea. The formation of teaching idea is based on teaching theory, and it's aim is for some kind of teaching benefit. The nature of teaching idea is ideal, which moved towards the teaching practice should through certain channel and this channel is the operational transformation of teaching idea. It can be divided into three steps:To discover the teaching thought from the teaching idea; To deduce the core teaching behavior from the teaching thought; To analyze the requirement s of teaching behavior for teacher'professional quality.In "The Analects of Confucius", there is the positive description of heuristic teaching method. The teaching thought is combining studying with thinking in the learning process and put into practice. It includes two core teaching behavior, which are guiding and teaching with skills. That requires teachers coordinating excellent guidance and teaching arts.Dialogic Teaching has the features of equal, democracy, communication, cooperation and innovation. Dialogic Teaching considers people as the essence of the society, and the operational thought is discussing on the base of equality and then solves problems. The teaching practice is cooperation and communication.The teaching operational thought of teaching students according to ability is on the basis of understanding students carefully evaluate them. Under the guidance of evaluation teaching targeted, the core teaching behavior is grasp the situation and flexibility. Teachers should have keen powers of observation and adaptation capabilities.This paper expects to combine outstanding teaching method into the modern teaching process, and provide rich examples for truly putting teaching idea into practice.
