| In recent years, as an hot topic in the field of educational technology research, educational game has attracted more and more concerns from scholars and classroom teachers. RPG educational game is role-playing centered in the game activities. The content and context of such games fully reflects the characteristics of role playing, and can make learners play the role of subjectivity, which greatly enhance the learning motivation and create conditions for learners'self-exploration.The author analyzes the status of educational game at home and abroad. Combined with the characteristics of science curriculum in elementary school, this paper indicates it is necessary to introduce educational game to science teaching in primary school in order to promote the integration of information technology and curriculum. The concept, classification, design and development tools of educational game are described, and the features of RPG educational game are analyzed; the general development process of RPG educational game was put forward according to the development model business game, and the elements and principles of game design were detailed. On theoretical basis, the roles that role theory, constructivist theory, game learning theory, multiple intelligence theory, flow theory and game theory have played on teaching the game were discussed.Finally, the fourth-grade science textbook of primary school was selected as game content. According to the model of game design and development, RPG game "Crystal Love" was designed and developed by Flash technology. The design aspects of the game case were highlighted, including instructional design, functional module design and technical design. Meanwhile, instructional design of the game mainly analyzed the learning objectives and content, learner characteristics, game learning tasks, learning resources to ensure the balance of education and game.The research innovation is that the mode of RPG educational game design was built. This makes the ideas of educational game design richer, and also provides some reference and help for subject teachers to design and develop educational game. While the theory of RPG educational game was fully analyzed the author designed the game content and penetrate the daily knowledge such as natural law and norms of behavior. This embodied the game of science teaching content, highlighted the play of game and combined teaching with pleasure; In addition, various kinds of information in this game case were stored in a database and the animation data was updated through FLASH and database's interaction technology. That we take advantage of computer game to organize the contents of subject knowledge can be viewed to actively explore the integration of information technology and curriculum. |
