With the acceleration of knowledge update, it is a developing tendency to teach senior biology by applying"concept map". The contradiction between the advantages of"concept map"and the disadvantages of the senior biology teaching by applying it home makes me determine that it has theoretical values and practical significances to apply"concept map"to senior biology teaching.In the article, Firstly analyse the definition, function and significance of"concept map"according to the current situation of it home and abroad. Secondly, analyse and discuss the related base of theory on the new curriculum ideas of biology, the theory of constructivist learning, cognitive learning and brain science. Then, combined with the characteristics of senior biology and based on the pratice of students'learning, choose three aspects to explore the application strategies of the teaching and learning of applying"concept map". Including"the strategy of teachers'self-control"by applying"concept map"to teaching design,"the strategy of experiment and exploration","the strategy of research learning","the strategy of cooperating learning","the strategy of studying independently"by applying it to activies of students'learning, and"the strategy of teaching evaluation"by applying it to the activities of evaluation. Study shows that assistant of"concept map", students could have deeper understanding of biological technology, and further improvement in the sense of biology. Further more, they could also make better progress in capability of exploration, study, and problem-solving, as well as fast enhancement of liability, team spirit and innovation, etc.
