Under The Base Of Civil Society Service-Learning And The Enlightenment To Ideological And Political Education Of College Students

Civil society advocated citizen culture, such as the volunteer spirit, humanistic spirit, the legal spirit and the autonomy spirit; citizens should have the quality attach the modern society. Service-Learning is a kind of teaching methods which make service and learning combined; more and more scholar identify the role it plays in citizen education and enhancing citizens' consciousness. This thesis aims to study service learning problems under the perspective of civil society and use case interviews as data collection methods, to explore civil society theory for young people's expectations of participation in social service and modern education function of service learning, and to find the combination point of service-Learning and ideological and political education to better service our ideological and political education.The thesis consists of six parts. The first chapter introduces the background. The second chapter introduces the challenges of ideological and political education; the research status of service-learning, and the theory of civil society were expounded. The third section describes the research questions, the ideas, the framework and the method of material collection. The fourth section describes the present situation of case study by two groups of interviews to collect case material, based on the analysis of the interview recording material. The fifth part answers the research questions and draws the research conclusions: the modern education function of service-learning, in civil society the quality requirements for young people and its' enlightenment to ideological and political education. At last, it is a summary and review of the full-text, aims at explaining the innovation and shortcomings, the development direction of the research in future.
