environmental challenges, and many other issues, in which environmental issues are increasingly affecting human survival and development and become the most important concern. For this reason, many countries are strengthening science education and environment education to improve the national quality and the living environment. In order to comply with the international situation and improve the status of the domestic environment, our country put forward the strategy of invigorating the country through science and education in which environmental education became a basic national policy of China. High school students are going through a critical period forming their outlook on life and world outlook. It is important for high school to carry out the teaching of high school geography and environmental education, to make them fully understand the relationship between humans and the environment, the importance of coordination. Geography subject is to explore relationship between people and land, therefore the process of environmental education in geography teaching is an indispensable component, also the important functions of geography teaching. With powerful new geography curriculum reform forward, how to conduct environmental education in geography teaching for students has become a question that is worthy of serious consideration of our geographical educators.In this paper, literature review, summarized comparative analysis, case studies and questionnaire survey methods are adopted to review and summarize research and development of environmental education at home and abroad, especially in high school geography teaching. And based on high school geography curriculum standards, the content system and structure of the existing PEP senior grade one were analyzed, also, the difference of environmental education between the old and new high school geography textbook was compared. Above all, we came to a conclusion that high school geography teaching has a unique disciplines advantage to implement environmental education.In addition, through questionnaire survey method, we know about the infiltration of environmental education in high school geography teaching, combined with environmental education content in high school geography textbook, a detailed analysis of the main infiltration ways and means high school environmental education in geography teaching. From the discussion of theoretical courses and practical courses, we proposed that besides traditional teaching methods, electrochemical teaching, discussion, experiment methods are also can be used in environmental education to students. Finally, environmental education knowledge in senior grade one was analyzed chapter by chapter, then the paper proposed some activity suggestions and found the best combination point between environmental education and geography teaching. Then two classes were selected from the compulsory and elective high school geography textbooks which were designed to show a combination of teaching method between environmental education and geography teaching.
