A nation's prosperity and development is closely related to its scientific literacy. Nowadays,scientific literacy has become the central goal of science education. In order to improve the scientific literacy of students,we must pay attention to students' science learning. Therefore, science learning has become one of hot issues in science education research. The foreign study of science learning from sociocultural views result in a lot of research results. The development of these research have important value for us to enrich understanding of science learning, improving science education.At the same time, there are some reference values for our study of science learning.Therefore, we need to sort out these related researchs, and analyze them,hoping to serve enlightenment for our science education.This article describes the developments of these studies mainly involved the following aspects: the sociocultural identity of learners and its effect on learning of science; the analysis about science learning activities from personal,interpersonal,cultural levels; the discussion about the language and other sociocultural factors on the impact of science learning; the reflection about conceptual change theory in science education from sociocultural perspective; the discussion about constructivism views of learning in science education.By introducing and analyzing the latest developments of these studies,combined with the reality of our science education, there are two aspects of revelation for our science education.Science learning research: add the sociocultural perspective of science learning research, attach importance to students' scientific concept of everyday life, learning from the experience of anthropological research and so on. Science teaching:changing the sociocultural prejudice of special science learners.Pay attention to social and cultural background of students,improving the cultural compatibility for the science teaching.Deepen the understanding of science learning, promote the reform of science teaching.Constructing science learning community, creating the cultural and ecological learning environment.
