Thinking in images is a common way of thinking, logical thinking is also added. And logical thinking as scientific research and learning are indispensable. The development of thinking in images so that it can associated with the formation of logical thinking mode, the coordinated development of both able to make the most of the creative potential of the play. In high school geography teaching, according to geographic discipline characteristic to cultivate the students' ability of thinking in images will be very effective means.First, this paper theoretically expounds the thinking law of thinking in image, namely the thought tools ,machining methods and subsidiary elements, and Analysis the thinking in image in high school geography teaching in the feasibility of cultivating.In test results on the basis of analysis, this paper puts forward the teaching means of applying the geographic intuitive image thinking ability cultivation of high specific strategies. Finally, through the typical teaching case design, use the contrast experiment teaching method. Experimental and control of the class teaching experiment. By the analysis of experimental results, explains to the thinking in image guided law of thinking the geographical intuitive teaching means can promote high school students improve image thinking ability.
