The current rapid development of higher vocational education and its constantly updated theory impact the ideological and political institutions in higher vocational education tremendously. In the past, the ideological and political theory courses in higher vocational education existed many drawbacks, such as the unchangeable teaching contents, the boring teaching process, simple teaching methodstc., which have been recognized. To improve the teaching effectiveness and to match the idea of modern professional education are the key points of ideological and political class teaching and research so that we can train high quality front-line personnel.For this situation, this paper presents the unity of "Teaching, learning and practicing "in vocational Ideological class teaching and discourses it from three parts. The first part is introduction, analyzing the contents, features and significance of the unity of "Teaching, learning and practicing ". The second part is about the requirements, which must Contains four aspects in the teaching which embodied in the following aspects:the unity of teachers and students, the unity of history and reality, the unity of the professional knowledge and the ideological and political theory course knowledge, the unity of theory and Practice. Based on these, the third part presents the overall curriculum design, and illustrates the designing ideas of "ideological and moral cultivation and legal basis" and "Mao Zedong Thought and Introduction to the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics from training objectives, training programs and assessment methods.Having learned from others' analysis and research, this article is formed on the basis of the author's own teaching experience, case studying and lessons learned. The unity of "Teaching, learning and practicing "in ideological vocational course introduces the vocational education model to the ideological and political education, emphasizing the main role of students, highlighting the ideological and political practice teaching position, which is full of a strong practical significance.
