With the transformation of China from a manufacturing power to a manufacturing powerhouse,the demand for high-quality professionals in social development is growing.In recent years,the Communist Party of China and our country have attached great importance to the development of higher vocational education.As an important part of higher vocational education,private higher vocational colleges are impressive in their scale and speed,and have cultivated hundreds of millions of highly skilled professionals for the country and society.These professionals need not only superb professional skills,but also good ideological and political qualities.As the main front of the ideological and political education of college students,the ideological and political theory course(hereinafter referred to as the course)has an important influence on world outlook,outlook on life and values of students in private higher vocational colleges.In recent years,private higher vocational colleges have also made many attempts and explorations in the practical teaching of the courses.However,the practical teaching of the courses in private higher vocational colleges also faces great challenges.Because the running school system of private higher vocational colleges is different from ordinary colleges and universities,there are many differences with ordinary universities in terms of operating mechanism,management mode and school purpose.Profoundly analyze the characteristics of private higher vocational colleges,sum up the current situation of practical teaching of the courses in private higher vocational colleges,analyze existing problems,think about and summarize the reasons,and propose feasible countermeasures.And there is great significance to promote the development of practical teaching of the courses in private higher vocational colleges.The main research methods in this paper are literature research and empirical research.By studying the predecessors' literature,analyzing and summarizing the characteristics of private higher vocational colleges and the main problems in the practical teaching of the courses in private higher vocational colleges,and then using questionnaires and individual interviews to research some private higher vocational college students and private higher vocational colleges in Sichuan and Chongqing.Two methods to conduct research together,it is found that the current practice teaching of the courses in private higher vocational colleges has experienced the early exploration and achieved beneficial results.But it also has four problems: the lack of scientific idea of the courses in private higher vocational colleges;the absence of the role of the subject and object of teaching in the practice teaching of the course;the course practical teaching organization lacks normativeness;the course practical teaching carrier is not attractive enough.This paper analyzes the causes of the problems existing in the practical teaching of the courses in private higher vocational colleges,and summarizes the reasons for these problems mainly reflected in the following four aspects: negative effects in the educational environment;the construction of teachers ' team in the courses lags behind;inappropriate operation of practical teaching carrier selection and inadequate construction of practical teaching guarantee mechanism.At the end of this paper,four main countermeasures are proposed for the main problems in the practical teaching of the courses in private higher vocational colleges and its reasons: learning from advanced education experience at home and abroad and promoting the idea of practical education in private higher vocational colleges has transformed;strengthening the participation and interaction of subjects and objects in practical teaching in order to realize the effectiveness of education;using scientific and orderly organization and management mechanism to guarantee the development of practical teaching;improving the attractiveness of practical teaching carriers based on students' needs.In order to improve the practical teaching effectiveness of the courses in private higher vocational colleges.
