Government Strategy Research On Aging Of Population

Aging of population is a process that the elderey population in the total population increases gradually. The age stucture of population of Liaoning province has changed tremedously since 1990 and it entered aging society in 1996. Although aging of population is the natural tendency of age, it is both a society problem and a serious ecnomic problem in the future. With the aging process in Liaoning province speeds up,there will be a serious impact on both economic and society.Based on the historical demographic data of Liaoning province,this paper helps to build a correct understanding of the status and trends. After the fundamental analysis, an estimate economic model is build to predict the index on the aging population and based on a series of the qualitative and quantitative analysis, appropriate policies and proposals will be given. so,it will be of a great significance to our active search for effective measures to resolve this problem.The paper consists of six sections as follows:The first section is introduction. The research background, significance, approach, domestic and overseas acheavements were brifely introduced.The second section presents the theoretical basis for the research and gives the definitions to the concepts of population aging, age median, bring-up ratio,etc. And compares the difference between individual aging and population aging.The third section analyzes the present situation of population aging in Liaoning Province. The total population, the population age structions and characteristics of population aging in Liaoning Province were investigated.The forth section is the trend of population aging of Liaoning Province. In this section, an estimate economic model is build to predict the index on the aging population.The fifth section is the influence of population aging in Liaoning Province. The influence was emphasized on both society and ecnomic.The sixth section is the stragety of population aging in Liaoning Province. S(?)eral ways were presented aiming at population aging.
