Technical Education at Undergraduate Level is the undergraduate level of vocational and technical education, and it is also a new type of education. Technical Education at Undergraduate Level does not only meet the need of popularization of higher education and complete the system of vocational and technical education, but also meet the development needs of students themselves. Technical Education at Undergraduate Level is an important way of training higher technical talents; its development has been paid more and more attention. Training mode, which is the key factor of running school, determines the type of talent training and the type of university. But at present, there are not enough in-depth researches on the talents training mode of technology undergraduate education, especially the feature of this mode.Based on the theoretical achievements of the previous studies on Technical Education at Undergraduate Level, the theory analysis of the talents training mode of Technical Education at Undergraduate Level establishes the knowledge structure, ability structure and quality structure of the talented personnel trained by technical undergraduate college, which separate technical undergraduate students from general undergraduate students and higher vocational students. It also encapsulates the rational strategy of establishing training mode of technical undergraduate college, which presents a new logic analysis frame for the study.Technology undergraduate education practice is the powerful evidence to inspect this mode. Taking Shanghai Dianji University, Zhejiang University of Technology and Zhejiang Industry Polytechnic College as cases, by the study of the training scheme and the questionnaire survey, this paper gives a comparative analysis of the training mode of these three colleges from five aspect which are target and specifications, content, method, institution and evaluation, and then analyzes the characters of technical undergraduate college.Theory and talent training practice indicate that the training mode of Technical Education at Undergraduate Level should aim to train the technologist. Public basic courses of Technical Education at Undergraduate Level should reflect the occupational. In the professional curriculum, theory and ability are considered equally important. The teaching method is focus on the skill training. The practice institutions are also implemented. Training evaluation should be diversified and based on the high skill acquisition. This is not only the requirement of the ideal talents training mode of Technical Education at Undergraduate Level, but also the orientation of personnel training practice of Technical Education at Undergraduate Level development.
