Research On The Events Seting Of National Sports Meeting

National Sports Meeting is the highest level of non-olympic compositive games.The immanent rules of compositive games demand competition to be center, while events setting is the core of competition. In order to improve the society benefit, achieve the target and tenet of Sports Meeting, we deepened the acquaintanceship of the game, did deep research around competition events setting issues, discussed the principles and ways of competition evens setting for the sake of offering theory for the reformation and development of this important games.By using literature material method, expert interview, questionnaire and logically analysis method, This research foucses on the history and present situation, the existence questions and countermeasures of national Sports Meeting.And besides, according to the experiences and achievements of the reform of the4th national Sports Meeting, combining with the preparatory work of the5th national Sports Meeting, we have put forward a development direction of enriching connotation forms, creating brand image, promoting organization idea, innovating competition patterns, strengthening the system constructions;through comparing the competitive and mass comprehensive sports'localization and competition events settings, we find that the Sports Meeting owns dual function of improving and popularization, dual nature of competitive and mass. And this article defines the purpose of the Sports Meeting, development directions and guiding thoughts further, and through researching the non-Olympic Game events'nature, characteristic and elements, we attain that setting the Sports events should consider seven basic elements and four special elements.The Conclusions of this study is that:the evaluation mechanism of the competition events in National Sports Meeting should be established. Based on the competition events election index and the benefit evaluation system, it ought to select the competition events in accordance with certain procedures, and to form a realistic way of the competition events setting to make the organization and administration of the Sports Meeting more in line with our national conditions, to make the competition more adhere to the law of comprehensive sports competition, reflectingthe cientificalness, professionalism, normativity and operability, and eventually to play an active role during organizing and managing the sports competitions in the Sports Meeting.
