The Study Of Entrepreneurial Competence Training Status——Dalian Maritime University MBA Education Center As An Example

Competency is one of the most controversial researching topics among modern psychology studies, human resources management, pedagogy and other academic areas. However, systematic researches on manager's competency under China's cultural background have been rarely seen. In this thesis, attempts and efforts have been made, on the basis of clarifying concepts and reviewing domestic and international academic research findings, to study the manager's competency from several enterprises located in Liaoning Province.Aiming at providing theoritical and data support to future competency training, this thesis discusses the status quo of competency training of enterprises managers in Liaoning Province from the perspective of their current competency status which is demonstrated through the example of Dalian Maritime University MBA Education Center.In order to achieve the above mentioned objective, this paper briefly reviewed the concepts of enterprise managers'competency and the status quo of those in Liaoning Province. Then, detailed analyses has been performed on the curriculum system of Dalian Maritime University MBA Education Center to examine its effectiveness and successfulness on competency training.In the process of this research, survey questioinaires were distributed to students of Dalian Maritime University MBA Education Center. Random sampling is utilized as90questionaires were distributed in which85of them is valid. The questionaire response rate was92%. In the courses of data processing, SPSS is used to perform statistical analyses and derive statistical results.According to the analyses, this thesis lodged several feasible advices on competency training of enterprise managers.It is hoped that this study and the proposed advices could help in the field of competency training of enterprise managers though it is realized that several aspects of this study is not representational.
