This paper mainly analyzes the definition of calling students by teachers. And why it is necessary for teachers to calling students with art. Questionnaire, interview, case study and theoretic analysis are applied to research the strategies of calling students.Calling is how people call each other in daily communication. And in terms of the calling students by teachers, it is a sort of calling g used in educational occasion like greeting, exchanging ideas and communicating. Different from the common calling in the social activities, however, there are specific characteristics in calling students. calling students is for educational use. It has ethic implication and is regulated by teachers'professional morals. It is also an expressing of love to students. It seems insignificant for how the teacher call students. Nonetheless, educational strategies are included in calling. Whether the teacher addresses students strategically is of great value in improving and establishing the new type of relationship between teacher and students, in enhancing education effect and promoting students'healthy growth in physics and mind.When calling students, teacher should live up to the principles of equality, intimacy, encouragement, accuracy and improvement. The principles should be flexibly applied to specific students, occasion and context. The calling should be varied according to students'age, personality, occasion, intimacy and purpose. Combining with the practice in teaching, the ways teachers calling students could be classified into intimate calling, calling by names, adding functional word, adding social status, calling by the reiterative surnames, calling g by characteristics and calling with implications. Teacher should just address students by their names, or by their given names, elegant names, nicknames and special names according to different situations and occasions. In the end, this paper specifically points out how should teachers address the so-called"backward students""special students""less advanced students"appropriately, and improve the calling g for them.
